Bericht aus Berlin: IPS 2020

My name is Anna-Sophie Hoppe and I am one of six recipients selected from the United States to participate in the IPS program this year. I am originally from Detroit, Michigan and, prior to IPS, I completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Eckerd College. At the start of the program, I had the opportunity to experience an introduction to working at the German Bundestag while meeting fellow IPSlers and getting settled in Berlin. Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, IPS has continued the internship with a digital alternative, hosting an array of online conferences and meetings. In my free time, I have been lucky enough to safely explore and enjoy Berlin with new friends. I am grateful for the experiences I have made so far, and I am looking forward to fully participating in the program again next year.
